2013 Dodge Challenger RT Redline to Carry $32,985 MSRP While Dodge has been rolling out special editions of everything from the Grand Caravan to the Dart, few vehicles have as much natural curb appeal as the Challenger. Debuting at the 2013 Chicago Auto Show, the 2013 Dodge Challenger R/T Redline package gives the large muscle car that extra bit of visual kick to accompany the V-8′s power and muscular engine note.

Available this spring, the Redline package will be offered on R/T and R/T Plus models, and with the five-speed automatic or six-speed manual transmission. Powering all manual-transmission 2013 Dodge Challenger R/Ts is a 375-hp 5.7-liter V-8 with 410 lb-ft of torque (372 hp and 400 lb-ft with the automatic). When we tested a 2011 model with the manual transmission, the car accelerated from 0-60 mph in 5.0 seconds. How that number might change with an eight-speed automatic (instead of the 2013 Challenger R/T’s five-speed automatic) is unclear.
Get the $1995 package on 2013 Dodge Challenger R/Ts, and the automaker will charge $32,985, or an extra $2000 for the R/T Plus model and $1100 more for the automatic transmission and its Mopar T-handle shifter.
Dodge unveiled the Challenger Rallye Redline last year for V-6 models; the V-8-powered Redline model isn’t too different. The package starts with 20-inch black chrome wheels that have red trim, which is matched by the Redline Red and Graphite stripe on the side of the car. The car can be ordered in silver, dark gray, and white, but we think it looks the meanest in black.
Inside the 2013 Challenger R/T Redline, the driver sits on dark gray performance seats or Nappa leather in red or dark gray on the R/T Plus model. Spend a bit more on the automatic-transmission model, and you’ll also get remote start and bright pedals.
While we can’t imagine it’s too long before Dodge offers the eight-speed automatic on the Challenger, future models won’t have Redline badges and the curb appeal of this Dodge that’s equal parts show and go. What do you think of the 2013 Dodge Challenger R/T Redline?
